when you said it, i thought you were kidding.
i've always had this idea that i would never ever ever live with a boy who i wasn't married to. can you hear the 7 year old naive romantic in me saying that? ahha
one of the things i love to do is "play house" with you. sounds silly, but that's what i call it. i like doing domestic tasks with you. i like doing laundry with you sitting next to me, watching you do dishes, cooking together, making the bed together, taking out the trash and recycling. i like it. i think it's fun but only when it's with you. you make mundane tasks enjoyable. i think i was meant to have a partner in this life. so long life of celibacy. =]
you and me. we are good together. it could be fun.
no.
when i said that, i realized that a part of me is still really old fashioned.
because living with you is not just fun, but it makes sense financially and will be more convenient once i start working in la. i don't know if i believe that living together will show us whether or not we are really compatible. it feels like cheating. i can't live with you until we are legal. as in marriage. (for some reason i didn't want to bring up marriage, because the idea of marriage, as fun and scary as it may sound, is still years and years away. but yep, that's the main reason.) as for the compatibility...we are. compatible, that is. i know it.
sometimes i wish i could just say FUCK IT and do what i want because i stop myself. a lot. for this reason or that reason, there is always a reason to be "good".
so thank you for asking me. thank you for having roommates who agreed to it. thank you for painting such a lovely picture.
but, with love and respect, no.
you will just need to court this old fashioned girl for a bit longer before you get her into your house and room.
